Judy Keen, PhD, is a scientific leader known for forging innovative partnerships across the pharmaceutical industry, non-profits, medical associations, and technology companies to accelerate the integration of emerging science and digital medicine. With a career spanning academia, government, non-profit organizations, and the pharmaceutical sector, Judy brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to tackling complex healthcare challenges. Dr. Keen earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Gettysburg College, followed by a Master of Science from the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. She went on to earn a PhD in Environmental Health Science from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in breast cancer research at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

As the Executive Director of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, Judy actively supports research and researchers to help improve bone health and overall quality of life for those suffering from bone diseases. In addition to her role, Judy is actively engaged in professional service. She serves as President of the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association, chair of the Johns Hopkins Press Advisory Council, and Trustee of the Johns Hopkins University among other volunteer roles.

Dr. Keen’s career reflects a steadfast commitment to advancing science through collaboration and driving meaningful change at the intersection of innovation, policy, and patient care.
